In der Klanginstallation «trans.sport» wird ein 20 Fuss Frachtcontainer als Resonanzkörper gebraucht. 8 Vibrationsschallwandler bringen die stählernen Wände von innen punktuell zum Vibrieren. Je nach Standort der Betrachter sind einzelne Klänge und Geräusche klar wahrnehmbar, oder sie vermischen sich zu abstrakten Geräuschkulissen. Die Geräusche sind eine Mischung aufgenommener Sequenzen sportlicher Aktivitäten und synthetisch ringmodulierten Klängen. Sie rücken den Container in den Kontext von Globalisierung, Sport und Einheitsnorm. Der Container wird zur Skulptur im öffentlichen Raum.

In the sound installation «trans.sport» a 20 foot cargo container is used as a resonance body. Eight sonic converters transform acoustic waves into vibration and cause the steel walls of the container to vibrate. This way the sound can make its way out from inside. According to location of the viewers, single sounds and noises are clearly discernible, or mix to abstract noise and soundscapes. The sounds, a mixture of recorded sequences of sport activities and synthetic ringmodulated sounds, move the container in the context of globalization and unitified normality. The container becomes a sculpture in a public space.
